iPhone 14 Pro leak says i-shaped cutout takes more space than notch
A new leak has suggested that iPhone 14 Pro i-shaped cutout has the same diameter as the iPhone 13 Pro's front camera opening.
We have already read that Apple is likely to remove the notch from iPhone 14. The notch was introduced on the iPhone X in 2017. It is being suggested that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will get a pill-shaped and hole cutout for the Face ID and the front camera. Now a newly leaked iPhone 14 Pro screen protector image also backs up these suggestions. The image has been shared by a respected industry insider Ice Universe that shows an iPhone 14 Professional cover with pill-shaped pinhole cuts and exceptionally small bezels.
As previous iPhone 14 leaks have also suggested, the new configuration is likely to eat a sizable amount of space. According to reports, to achieve this new design Apple will remove the dead space around the notch instead of reducing the size of the facial recognition and front camera components. The leak suggests that the iPhone 14 Pro's cutout will be the same as the size of the front camera opening on the Apple iPhone 13 Pro.
The report also suggests that iPhone fans may get larger screens on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro i.e, 6.12 inches and 6.69 inches, respectively in order to better suit the design. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max has a smaller display size i.e, 6.06 inches and 6.68 inches. The handsets might feature curved edges and a higher part ratio.

Apart from these, Apple will also bring a lot of upgrades on iPhone 14 Pro models right from bigger camera bump to 48MP camera, A 16 bionic chipset, and much more. The Pro models are speculated to feature a superior front camera with autofocus, a six-component lens rather than the current five-component lens, and a bigger f/1.9 aperture. Earlier, a tweet by iHacktu via VNchocoTaco suggested the performance figure of the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro models.
The iPhone 14 Pro models are likely to have GPU + 35% and CPU + 42%.
