It should be known that if you book more than 6 railway tickets then you will have to link your Aadhaar with IRCTC Account. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has informed that railway passengers are allowed to book up to 12 tickets in a month. "Now users are allowed to book up to 12 tickets in a month, if they get themselves verified through their Aadhaar number along with at least one passenger also being verified through Aadhaar," IRCTC said. It also informed that no Aadhaar verification is required for booking up to 6 tickets in a month, as earlier and existing facility of booking upto 6 tickets (without Aadhaar) in a month continues. If you are planning for a trip with your friends and family and have to book more than 6 tickets, then here is how you can link your Aadhaar with IRCTC account. Check the step-by-step guide here. ## How to link an Aadhaar with IRCTC account Step 1: Visit the official website of the IRCTC using your web browser or click on the link- www.irctc.co.in.
