PM Kisan 11th installment: With almost the majority of the people involved in the agriculture sector, it is important to have schemes that can support the farmers of the country. The Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana is one such scheme. The central government will soon be releasing the PM Kisan 11 installment. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the release date of the PM Kisan 11th installment, but as per the reports, it is likely to be released by the first week of May, 2022.

Farmers who have registered themselves under the PM Kisan scheme are now eagerly waiting for the amount to get credited in their bank account. It can be known that Last year (2021), PM Kisan 8th installment was released on May 14. Also, if you have registered for the scheme then you need to know that e-KYC is mandatory for registered farmers to avail the benefit.

The eKYC deadline for PM Kisan has been extended till May 31, 2022. “Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries has been extended till 31st May 2022," a note on the PM KISAN website said.

About the PM Kisan Scheme

The PM Kisan scheme is a central sector scheme to provide income support to all landholding farmers' families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs. Under the scheme an annual financial benefit of Rs. 6,000 is provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families. The amount is credited directly to the bank account of the famers in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, every four month.

The money under the 10th installment of PM Kisan Yojana was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the month of January 2022 via video conferencing. And soon the amount under the 11th installment will also be released. Once the installment will be released, registered farmers will be able to check the installment status online via PM Kisan website or via the PM Kisan App. Here is a step-by-step guide to check the PM Kisan 11th installment status online once released.

How to check PM Kisan 11th installment status via PM Kisan website

Step 1: Once the PM Kisan 11th installment releases, farmers will have to visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: From the homepage they will have to click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab.

Step 3: Then select either of the options - Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.

Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on 'Get Data'.

Step 1:

You will first need to download the PM Kisan Mobile Application. For that go to the official website of PM Kisan or click on the link- https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

Step 2:

From the Farmers Corner available on the right side of the homepage click on 'Download PMKISAN Mobile App'. However, You can also directly go to the Google Play store on your Android device and type PM Kisan App and can download it from there as well.

Step 3:

Using the PM Kisan Mobile Application, beneficiaries can register themselves, know the status about their registration and payments, correct name as per Aadhaar, know about the scheme and can dial helpline numbers.
