Samsung has announced a new feature called FlexCam which will give content creators and influencers more flexibility and a new way of creating hands-free content. The company announced this feature at the Unpacked event along with the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4.

This feature can be used on any flip smartphone from Samsung. Users can fold their flip phones and place it on a platform to create hands-free content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram and more. Users can take advantage of this feature to take hands-free calls on WhatsApp and Messenger.

Samsung says, “Thanks to Flex mode on Galaxy Z Flip, you can use your phone handsfree by standing it up on a surface. Take selfies at whole new angles, make video calls, or capture long-exposure images without the use of a tripod easily by folding the Galaxy Z Flip. It takes your camera experience to a whole new level.”

The smartphone's excellent dual camera system allows users to shoot hands-free video or capture full group selfies at various angles by partially folding Z Flip 4 to activate FlexCam. The FlexCam removes the requirement of a tripod or a stand to hold the smartphone while shooting content.

"We will continue to evolve our products so that they are easy to use, whether you are creating content or connecting with others,” Samsung further added.

FlexCam will make shooting reels, videos or capturing your favourite moments on the go more convienient. According to a recent report, Samsung is also testing a new influencer platform called “Super”, which will allow influencers to livestream content. The platform is in testing phase as of now and reportedly allows influencers to engage with viewers, host live streams and earn revenue.
