Is your phone storage getting full? Due to low storage your phone can, not only hang, but also slow down frequently. The reason behind this may be the many phone apps installed by you. Whether you are an Android phone user or an iPhone user, you require certain apps on your phone based on your needs, but there are many others that are never used. So, while you can download the mobile applications you need from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS), there is a big need for some spring cleaning every now and then. From gaming apps to educational to payment making applications, you can install whichever app you want, but get rid of them if not in use. So, if you have unwanted phone apps, delete or disable them before they cause you problems.

Make sure you do a thorough job and this includes doing away with certain applications that are pre downloaded on your devices at the time of the purchase. However, some of these pre-installed apps can be deleted by you, while some can't, no matter whether you use them or not. But, the apps which you have installed can easily be deleted or disabled by you from the phone apps list.

How to disable apps that came with your Android phone

1. Go to Settings.

2. Find and click on the Apps option.

3. Look for the pre-installed or inbuilt application that you want to disable and click on it.

4. Once you click on the name of the application, you will find the Disable option at the bottom of your phone's screen. Tap on it.

Open the Google Play Store app.

At the top right, tap the profile icon.

Step 3:

Tap Manage apps and devices and then click on Manage option.
