Your WhatsApp may be exciting, but it is set to get even better. WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world and it keeps improving its platform by adding new features to the mix for users to benefit from. While sometimes these features add functionality to the existing WhatsApp features, other times they bring totally new ones to the messaging app. Here we have listed top five features that WhatsApp has started working on, which are expected to arrive on the app soon and how to benefit from them:

WhatsApp Ads on Facebook

WhatsApp is releasing a new feature to its business app that will enable them to create advertisements that lead to their WhatsApp account. With this feature, businesses will be able to reach new customers by advertising on Facebook, because the ad will let people on Facebook know they also operate on WhatsApp. WABetaInfo reports that with WhatsApp Business beta for iOS 2.21.230.15 and WhatsApp Business beta for Android 2.21.23.15 businesses can now create a new Facebook ad within WhatsApp Business by accessing the Advertise on Facebook option within Tools Settings.

WhatsApp My Contacts Except...

WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature for select users that will give them more control over their privacy settings. With the ‘My Contacts Except' setting, iOS users can restrict who can see their Last Seen, About, and Profile Photo on WhatsApp. Notably, when users exclude some contacts from seeing their last seen then they themselves, won't be able to see their last seen as well.

WhatsApp Emojis and Stickers

WhatsApp is developing a new feature that allows users to create a group icon using a custom background, emojis, stickers in the WhatsApp beta. This feature is being rolled out for Android 2.21.20.2 beta update. Users can create a new icon by tapping “Emoji and stickers” option. Users can, not only choose the background colour of the image, but they can also place a sticker or an emoji.

WhatsApp Communities

WhatsApp is working on a feature called Communities. This feature will give admins more control over the smaller groups within their community. Admins will be able to invite other people to join the community. Users can be manually added or they can join using a “Community Invite Link”, if the admin has shared it privately or publicly. This feature is expected to be available in WhatsApp's iOS-based app soon.

WhatsApp Multi-device functionality

WhatsApp has been working on multi-device functionality for a long time now. Now the blog site says that the option to opt out of the multi-device beta program has been removed. This means that those users cannot leave the multi-device beta program anymore. This feature is rolling out for some people on WhatsApp beta for iOS. The company will roll out this feature for more users soon.
