How to get rain alerts on iPhones

Step 1:

First of all, open the Weather app on your iPhone and click on the List icon in the low-right corner.

Step 2:

Now tap on the Enable Notifications option.

Step 3:

After this, simply toggle on the Next-hour Precipitation option to get the rain alerts.

Step 4:

The important part is the location. So you will have to allow the Weather App to use location via your iPhone. For that, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Weather and then turn on the precise location.

Step 5:

And that’s all! It will get alerts on the iPhone of rain an hour or so in advance.

You should note here that the Weather app uses your current location to send you updates about the weather. So, if you are travelling to another city or country, you will need to adjust the location. To add any of the locations, you will need to enter the name of the city, the zip code, or the airport code in the search field, and simply tap on ADD. Now you will be able to have a view of all the desired weather updates about your selected locations.
