Apple recently launched its iPhone 12 series smartphones consisting of the iPhone 12 Mini, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphones. Now, a new report details the battery capacity of the company’s iPhone models.
As per a report by TecnoBlog, the iPhone 12 Mini, which is the cheapest and the smallest model of the series, comes with a battery capacity of 2,227 mAh. The iPhone SE 2020, which was launched earlier this year, on the other hand, comes with a battery capacity of 1,821mAh. This means that the iPhone 12 Mini has a battery that is 18% bigger than the iPhone SE 2020.
Apple’s website says that the iPhone 12 Mini provides a video playback time of up to 15 hours, while the iPhone SE 2020 can run for up to 13 hours under similar conditions. The iPhone 11, which was last year’s budget iPhone, provides a video playback time of up to 17 hours indicating that it has a bigger battery than the iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone SE 2020
The 6.1-inch iPhone 12, on the other hand, comes with a battery capacity of 2,815mAh battery, which is less than iPhone 11’s 3,110mAh battery.
The details come as a courtesy of the documents shared by ANATEL, which is Brazil’s equivalent of the FCC.
While the documents shared by the agency do not reveal the battery capacity of the iPhone 12 Pro, they do confirm that the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 model with a triple-rear camera setup will be assembled in Brazil and India in addition to being assembled in China.
