Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS edition leaks ahead of July 9 launch

The latest leak gives us a better look at the Galaxy S20+ BTS edition. There's a Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition in the works too.

We've already gotten a good look at the Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition. Now another leak reveals what the BTS edition of the Galaxy S20+ smartphone will look like.

The latest leak comes from Evan Blass who has also leaked its promotional poster. The Galaxy S20+ BTS edition comes in the same ‘Lilac Purple' as the Galaxy Z Flip. The BTS logo is engraved at the rear along with the heart symbol on the camera module.

It looks like the phone will have customised BTS themes according to the screenshot which is also purple and has the K-Pop group's logo. All seven members of BTS are also seen holding the Galaxy S20+ and posing with it.

Other than the special branding the specs and features would remain the same on the Galaxy S20+. It could however come at a higher price than the regular version.

The Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition has a richer purple colour with the earbuds in a purple-black combination. The charging case and the wireless earbuds have the BTS logo and the heart symbol on them. The retail box also has seven purple hearts representing each member of the K-Pop group.

Samsung has also listed the Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition on its UAE website. Here it shows the wireless earbuds will have an exclusive BTS theme along with live wallpaper, sticker and lockscreen which would be visible on the Samsung Gear app.

Samsung has already teased its BTS edition product launch along with the retail box. Pre-orders will begin on June 19 and end on July 5. The official launch date is scheduled for July 9. It's likely that the Galaxy S20+ will be available only in select markets.

Samsung signed a partnership deal with BTS earlier this year. The K-Pop group has appeared in commercials for the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Z Flip.
