Bhabha Atomic Research Centre(BARC) has invited online applications for the recruitment of Scientific Officers through its academic programmes. The selected candidates will undergo one Year Orientation Course or two year DAE fellowship schemes for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates for the year 2022-2023 (OCES-2022) conducted at the BARC Training Schools. The interested and eligible candidates can apply via the official website –barc.gov.in on or before February 11, 2022. BARC Scientific Officer recruitment 2022: Eligibility criteria

Educational qualifications: Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engineering) / 5-year Integrated M.Tech. in relevant stream with a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks. Candidates applying through GATE score must have a valid GATE-2021 or GATE-2022 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.

Age limit: For the general category, the upper age limit is 26, while for OBC maximum age limit is 29 years and for SC/ST category the upper age limit is 31 years

Selection to OCES/DGFS-2022 will be done through screening to short-list candidates followed by selection interviews.

Step 1: Candidates will be required to visit the official portal of BARC at barc.gov.in to fill up the online application form.

Step 2: Go to the recruitment tab and click on the active vacancies.

Step 3: Tap on the “Apply Online‟ link provided against the respective vacancy.

Step 4: Register yourself by filling in essential information like name, mother‟s name, date of birth, mobile no., e-mail ID and a preferred login ID.

Step 5: Upon successful registration, activate your account by submitting OTPs sent to your registered mobile number and registered email id.

Step 6: Once done login through “Candidate's Login‟ and fill in the online application form.

Step 7: Next, pay the required application Fee ( ₹ 500 plus applicable bank charges).

Step 8: After successful payment, you can proceed to the final submission stage and complete your application.

Step 9: Once the final submission is completed, a unique registration number will be generated to be used for all future correspondence.
