DRDO Recruitment 2022: On Monday, January 24, Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)-Research Centre Imarat (RCI) released a notification for a recruitment drive. The organisation has 150 apprentice posts open. DRDO will be hiring graduate level apprentice, diploma level technician apprentice and trade apprentice. The eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of RCI. Applications opened on January 25. The last date to apply is February 7, 2022. DRDO Recruitment 2022: eligibility, details and selection process

Out of the 150 posts, 40 are for graduate apprentice, 60 are for technician apprentice and 50 are for trade apprentice.

Age Limit: To apply for the DRDO Recruitment 2022, candidates should not be less than 18 years old as on January 1, 2022. If you are above this age, you can apply for the vacancy.

Qualification:

1. Graduate Apprentice: These candidates must have completed either B.E/B.Tech in [ ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical ] or B.Com/BSc.

2. Technician Apprentice: Candidates applying for technician apprentice position must have completed their Diploma in ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical or Chemical.

3. Trade Apprentice: Candidates applying for these positions must be ITI pass out (NCVT / SCVT affiliation) in [ Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Electronics, Mechanic and Welder ]

According to the notification, selection will be made on the basis of Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.

DRDO Recruitment 2022: how to apply

Step 1:

To apply, first go to the website: https://rcilab.in

Step 2:

Once on the homepage, click on ‘Engagement of Apprentices  - 2021-22’

Step 3:

You will be taken to a separate page, where you will be asked to register to the portal.

Step 4:

Enter your registration number in NAPS Portal, mobile number and email address to register.

Step 5:

Once registration is complete, go back to the previous page and click on ‘Apply here’.

Step 6:

Enter your registration number and phone number to enter your application.

Step 7:

Once you reach the application form, fill in the correct information in all the fields. 

Step 8:

Once you have filled in your application form, you can submit it. After that you will see an option on the left side of the screen to take a print out of the application. Use it to either take a print or keep a digital copy of the application for future reference.
