    How to set a custom Text alert Tone on your iPhone

    Step 1:

    To set a custom Text alert Tone on your iPhone for specific contacts, you will first need to launch the Contacts app on your ‌iPhone‌.

    Step 2:

    Then, select a contact from the list that you need to use with a new custom tone. 

    Step 3:

    You will find an option for Edit in the top-right corner of the screen. Tap on it. 

    Step 4:

    After this, click on the Text Tone option. 

    Step 5:

    Here, choose a text tone from the list. This will also include the iPhone ringtones and text tones installed with the iOS update. You can also find custom text and ringtones you added to the phone. You can tap on any tone to hear it.

    Step 6:

    Now you can choose any of these tones to use as alert tones for text messages. 

    Step 7:

    Tap the tone to place a checkmark next to it, and then tap Done.

    And it is done! Now you can get a message alert for the specific contact with a customized tone.
