These promotional emails are basically the ones that you receive after registering on any platform, including sales, product launches, and much more. These emails are not just unnecessary most of the time, but also end up piling up in the Gmail inbox which can misplace an important email too.

How to delete all promotions emails in Gmail

Step 1:

First, log in with your Gmail account on a desktop or laptop. 

Step 2:

Then, in the search bar, simply type “unsubscribe” and hit enter. What will this do? It will simply show you a list of all emails that carry an Unsubscribe button.

Step 3:

Tick the box above to select all emails with this Unsubscribe tag. 

Step 4:

Now, all you need to do is just tap on the delete button and all these promotional emails will be deleted. In case you want to keep some of these emails that you find useful, you can deselect those specific emails before hitting the delete button. 

Avoid promotional emails in the future too!

The above-mentioned steps will delete the emails that are junk to your Gmail inbox. However, you can even avoid promotional emails in the future too. You will find an ‘Unsubscribe' button at the end of these promotional emails. You will have to click on that to stop getting spam emails.
