Almost every one holds an Aadhaar Card. It is not only a form of proving your identity but also one of the most important documents required for getting official work done. Every Aadhaar card contains a 12 digit unique identity number and is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and that too free of cost. However, carrying your Aadhaar card all the time is a difficult task as there will be a lot of wear and tear on it due to constant use. There are times when you may even forget to carry it or lose it. Therefore, in order to make it easy to carry Aadhaar, UIDAI has come up with a solution and that is in the form of Aadhaar PVC Card.

Recently, taking to its Twitter account UIDAI informed that Aadhaar card holders can perform the authentication process by receiving their OTP on any mobile number instead of only the registered mobile number. That means now Aadhaar PVC Cards can be ordered for the whole family using any mobile number. "You can use any mobile number to receive #OTP for #authentication, regardless of the registered mobile number with your #Aadhaar. So, one person can order Aadhaar PVC cards online for the whole family. Follow the link to order now," UIDAI tweeted.
