1. Open Instagram on your smartphone.

2. Tap profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.

3. Tap Menu.

4. Tap Your activity, then tap Time. You will be able to see the average time you spent on Instagram in the last week.

Meanwhile, people who do not use Instagram can create their profile on the same and share their day to day activities with their followers. Also, when you create a new account on Instagram, people who are already using the application may see a notification saying that you have a new account.

Step 1: Download the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

Step 2: Once the app has been installed, tap Instagram to open it.

Step 3: Tap sign up with email address or phone number (Android) or create new account (iPhone), then enter your email address or phone number (which will require a confirmation code) and tap Next. You can also tap Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.

Step 4: If you register with your email address or phone number, create a username and password, fill in your profile info and then tap Next. If you register with Facebook, you will be prompted to log in to your Facebook account if you're currently logged out.

Step 5: If you sign up using email, make sure that you enter your email address correctly and choose an email address that only you can access. If you log out and forget your password, you will need to be able to access your emails to get back into your Instagram account.
