If you have an iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone SE 3, or any other iPhone model running on iOS 15, then know that the Apple Weather app is available in your iPhone itself and it can help you check weather updates on any location you are in or are interested in knowing. This will help you to know current as well as upcoming weather conditions of the desired location. You can even check the upcoming hourly or 10-day forecast, see severe weather information, view weather maps, receive precipitation notifications, and more with the Weather app on your iPhone. Features offered by Apple Weather app

  • You can check local weather conditions for your current location which are available when you open Weather. Note that the Weather app uses Location Services to get the forecast for your current location. You will need to turn on Location Services. For that, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Weather and then turn on the precise location.
  • Get the updates about severe weather conditions such as winter storms and flash floods appear at the top of the screen. Want precise weather updates? Check the hourly forecast. Just swipe the hourly display left or right to know the updates.
  • Long 10-day forecast view is also available! This will help you to plan your long holiday for any location.
  • Besides these, you can check air quality details, weather maps in your area such as a map of temperature, precipitation, or air quality in a particular area, extended weather details, and more.

How to check the weather on iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone SE 3

Step 1:

You can have a full list of weather for several locations. Just open the Weather app on your iPhone. Tap the three bullets along with horizontal lines to see your weather list. 

Step 2:

Then, add any of the locations. You will need to enter the name of the city, the zip code, or the airport code in the search field, and simply tap on ADD. Now you will be able to have a view of all the desired weather updates about your selected locations.

Step 3:

Well, you can have a detailed view of temperature, precipitation, and air quality maps. For that, click on the map icon on the Weather app. 

Step 4:

Tap on a three-layered file icon to change the map display to temperature, precipitation, or air quality. Now, touch the screen and drag your finger to move the map. Simply, pinch the screen to zoom in and out.

Step 5:

You can use the earlier mentioned steps to view the weather list to have a detailed map view for selected locations.

Step 6:

Well, if you are looking for the details for your current location and want to be updated all the time about it. Then, you can receive a weather notification when rain, snow, hail, or sleet is about to start or stop in your current location.

Step 7:

To receive weather notifications, go to the Settings  > Privacy > Location Services > Weather > tap on Always. Ensure to select the precise location and get an alert about all the weather conditions in your area.
