PM Kisan 12th Kisan Installment: The release date of the 12th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme is not yet out. However, the central government is expected to announce it between October and November, 2022. It can be known that the PM Kisan 12th installment will directly be credited to the registered farmers bank accounts. Also, farmers who have registered to the scheme need to complete their KYC in order to get the PM Kisan 12th installment. According to PM Kisan Portal “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PMKISAN Portal or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC."

Under the PM Kisan 12th Installment a sum of Rs. 2000 will be credited to the bank accounts of every eligible registered farmer. It can be known that under the scheme, an annual financial benefit of Rs. 6,000 is being provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families. The amount is credited in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each, every 4th month.

Once the PM Kisan 12th installment is released and the amount gets credited in the account of the beneficiaries, the following steps can be used to check the installment status online.

Step 1: Visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab present on the home page.

Step 3: Select either of the options - Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.

Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on 'Get Data'.

How to register for PM Kisan Scheme online

Step 1:

Farmers need to visit the official website of the PM Kisan Scheme at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2:

Further, the government has created Farmers' Corner in the PM Kisan web-portal. From there click on the New Farmer's Registration option.

Step 3:

New Farmer's Registration: Through this link, the farmers can submit their details online. The online Form has certain mandatory fields as well self-declaration regarding the eligibility.

Step 4:

Once the Form is filled in and submitted successfully by the farmer, the same is forwarded by an automated process to the State Nodal Officer (SNO) for verification.

Step 5:

The SNO verifies the details filled in by the farmer and uploads the verified data on the PM-Kisan portal. Thereafter the data is processed through an established system for payment.

Step 6:

Farmers can also use 'Edit Aadhaar details' option from the farmers corner to edit their name themselves as per details in the Aadhaar Card. The edited name then gets updated after authentication through the system.
