WhatsApp has introduced a new period-tracking chatbot in collaboration with Sirona Hygiene. This women's menstrual cycle tracker chatbot will help keep a track of their menstrual cycle at ease. Though there are several period tracking apps available on the Google Play store, this new WhatsApp chatbot will remove the need to install an extra app. Sirona is an Indian brand that makes feminine hygiene products and has its own app dedicated to a complete ecosystem around menstrual health and hygiene. How to use WhatsApp period tracker chatbot

Tracking periods via WhatsApp chatbot is pretty easy. All you have to do is simply message ‘Hi' to the number +919718866644 to activate the tracker. The chatbot will offer you three options to proceed with - track periods, conceive, and avoid pregnancy. You can choose any of them as per your preference and answer all the questions asked i.e, basic details about your last period cycle, duration of their cycle, regularity, etc, so that the chatbot can keep a record and predict the accurate period dates.

Once you're done, the chatbot will start sending reminders about your upcoming menstrual cycle dates. It will also update you about your ovulation cycle so that you can plan things accordingly. But do note that all the updates given by WhatsApp chatbot depend on the accuracy of the information shared by you so make sure that you won't get confused about dates. Any change in your menstruation cycle might lead to wrong predictions. In case your periods get delayed or your menstrual cycle gets disturbed due to any reason, you can edit their details. The chatbot also lets users view their next three menstruation cycles.
