The 10th installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana is likely to be released by the central government in December. Farmers are eagerly waiting for the amount under the scheme to get credited into their account before the new year begins. But did you know that the status of the installment can be checked online by visiting PM Kisan official website or by downloading the PM Kisan Application on your smartphone? The PM Kisan Scheme was announced by the central government in the year 2019.

PM Kisan provides income support to all landholding farmers' families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs. Till date 9 installments have been credited to farmers accounts. Under the scheme an annual financial benefit of ₹6,000 is provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families. The amount is credited directly to the bank account of the famers in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, every four month.

After the 10th installment gets credited in the account of the beneficiaries, the following steps can be used to check the status:

Via PM Kisan website

Step 1: To check PM Kisan 10th installment status, visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab present on the home page.

Step 3: Select either of the options - Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.

Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on 'Get Data'.

Via PM Kisan Mobile App:

Step 1: Download the PM Kisan Mobile Application. For that go to the official website of PM Kisan or click on the link- https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

Step 2: From the Farmers Corner available on the right side of the homepage click on 'Download PMKISAN Mobile App'. However, You can also directly go to the Google Play store on your Android device and type PM Kisan App and can download it from there as well.

Step 3: Similar to the official website, using the PM Kisan Mobile Application, beneficiaries can register themselves, know the status about their registration and payments, correct name as per Aadhaar, know about the scheme and can dial helpline numbers.
