The central government has announced that the PM Kisan 10th installment date is January 1, 2022. Farmers have been eagerly waiting for the installment to get credited into their bank accounts and now the coming new year will bring them some relief. The Prime Minister's Office in a release said, "In line with the continued commitment and resolve to empower grassroot level farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 10th installment of financial benefit under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on 1st January, 2022 at 12:30 PM via video conferencing."

In the PM Kisan 10th installment, as per the information, an amount of more than ₹20,000 crore will be transferred to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families. It can be noted that under the PM Kisan scheme, a financial benefit of ₹6000 per year is provided to the eligible beneficiary farmer families, payable in three equal 4-monthly installments of ₹2000 each. The fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

As per the information provided by PMO, in this scheme, Samman Rashi of over ₹1.6 lakh crore has been transferred to farmer families so far. During the programme, the Prime Minister will also release an equity grant of more than ₹14 crore to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), which will benefit more than 1.24 lakh farmers.

The Prime Minister will interact with FPOs during the event and will also address the nation. Step 1: To check PM Kisan 10th installment status, visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab present on the home page.

Step 3: Select either of the options - Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number.

Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on 'Get Data'.
