PUBG Mobile Lite is a popular battle royale game that is well known for allowing players who do not have the latest high-level specs to play PUBG Mobile. The game was banned last year by the Indian government for security reasons. Just like every other free-to-play game, PUBG Mobile Lite and Battlegrounds Mobile India have a lot of players, some of who are very good at the game. This means that you can end up at a big disadvantage while playing the popular survival game. However, there is a solution for every player -- honing your strategy and following some important pointers while playing the battle royale game.

It is important to note that PUBG Mobile is banned in India, and the alternative game to download is Battlegrounds Mobile India. If you find yourself having a hard time progressing through the game and ranking up, it might be time to take a look at our handy tips to help you maximise your chances.

Know your weapon and its limitations

Like any battle royale game, in order to win in PUBG Mobile Lite, you’re going to need a gun. However, even among all the guns available in the game, some are better than others. For example, you should almost always pick an assault rifle or a submachine gun over a shotgun, while the latter and pistols are best used when you’re very close to your opponent and want to finish them off quickly. Marksman rifles, sniper rifles are clearly meant to be used over long distances, so it's worth keeping in mind the terrain to make sure you have a good vantage point while playing with this weapon.

Don’t wander off from your team

Don’t be a hero and wander off far from your team, because sticking together can yield massive rewards as a defensive strategy. Also, remember that chasing after a player and getting separated from your team could lead you straight into an ambush. Getting ejected from the game at an early point means you lose out and your team also loses a player making them more vulnerable and lowering their chances of survival. The best strategy is to stay near your teammates and pick the right opponents in the game.

Pick your gear and your enemies carefully

When you’re at the loadout, pick your weapons and gear properly. Make sure you have a capable gun, a vest, backpack and a helmet. These will help you survive longer in the game for a longer period. You must also make sure you choose the right gear depending on the map and then start the game. It’s worth keeping an eye out on what your teammates are using too, communicate with them to understand the firepower on your team. The same applies to fighting enemies in the game. Don’t pick a battle you can’t win and pick a moderate strategy and make use of the terrain and your surroundings to keep yourself and your team alive so you can survive the longest in the game.
