Have you received the 12th installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme in your bank account? Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, October 17, 2022 released the PM Kisan 12th installment, giving a Diwali gift to the farmers. The announcement was made during the inaugural event of PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022 at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. "During the event, the Prime Minister also released the 12th instalment amount of Rs. 16,000 crores under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) through Direct Benefit Transfer," the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare informed.

In his address at the PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022, the Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Narendra Singh Tomar said PM Kisan is the world's biggest direct benefit scheme and is an outcome of the continued commitment of PM Modi that received accolades for its scale, transparency and seamless transfer of funds.

It can be known that under the PM Kisan scheme, eligible farmer families are provided a benefit of Rs. 6000 per year in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each. So far, eligible farmer families have received benefits of more than Rs. 2 lakh crore under PM Kisan, PMO informed.

PM Kisan 12th installment has been directly credited to the registered farmers bank accounts. The PM Kisan 12th installment status can be checked online by visiting the official website of PM Kisan or its mobile application. Here are the steps to be followed.

1. Download the PM Kisan Mobile Application from the official website of PM Kisan or click on the link- https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

2. You can also directly go to the Google Play store on your Android device and type PM Kisan App and can download it from there as well.

3. Then click on the Beneficiary Status and provide all the details asked for.

Step 1:

Visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2:

Click on the 'Beneficiary Status' tab. You can find it on the home page. Provide the required details asked for.

Step 3:

Then, click on 'Get Data' and the details will be displayed on the screen of your device.
