What is Samsung's Quick Share?

Quick Share is a sharing service for sending photos, videos, and files with your friends and family by Samsung. So, when you've captured something, you want to share it quickly with your friends and family. No, you don't need to upload the files on any other platform to create a sharing link. All you need is to open the Quick share app on both the devices, select your media and that's it!

However, you need to note that there are a few pre-settings that you need to check before sharing media files with Quick Share. To make things clear, we have mentioned the steps to follow on Samsung Galaxy F23 5G. You can follow the same on other Samsung smartphones too. Here's the pre-settings for Quick Share.

How to use Quick share feature on Samsung Galaxy F23 5G

Step 1:

Head into your Settings and search for Quick Share in the search bar.

Step 2:

Under Quick Share settings, you can find several options. You need to ensure to deselect the No One from the 'Who can share with you' option. This way, you can receive media files from nearby devices too. You can select 'contacts only' or 'Anyone nearby'.

Step 3:

To make the video file sharing rapid, you can turn on the 'convert videos to compatible mode' that can convert the high standard resolution videos to standard resolution videos.

Step 4:

To save your data, turn on the 'Use Wi-Fi only' option. 

Step 5:

Now to share the files, photos, or media, all you have to do is find the files that you want to send and tap the Share button. 

Step 6:

Now, select the icons of the nearby contacts you want to send to. The receiver has to tap Accept on their phones to receive and complete the process. 

Step 7:

Once the other device accepts, the file sharing process starts.
