The South East Central Railway (SECR) has invited applications from 10th pass candidates to fill various posts of trade apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. Interested candidates can submit their application on the official website of SECR at secr.indianrailways.gov.in. The recruitment is being conducted for a total of 1044 seats of trade apprentices. Selected candidates will get a stipend as per prescribed rates. The applications can be submitted upto June 3, 2022. SECR recruitment 2022: Eligibility criteria

Candidates must have passed class 10 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognised board of education. They must possess an ITI certificate issued by any NCVT or State Council for vocational Training recognised Industrial Training Institute in relevant trade.

SECR recruitment 2022: Selection process

The selection of applicants will be done on the basis of the marks secured by them in class 10th examination plus ITI marks. “A final merit list will be prepared unit wise, trade wise and community wise equal to the number of slots in the descending order or percentage of marks obtained by the candidate,” reads the official statement.

Applicants note that no [physical copy of the application has to be sent. Only online applications will be accepted. Also candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria.

Visit the official website at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. 

Step 2:

Head to the ‘Recruitment’ tab and then click on the link for Apprentices engagement for Nagpur zone.

Step 3:

Tap on the link to apply online and register yourself by filling in all the required details.

Step 4:

Fill in the SECR apprentices application carefully and upload the required documents.

Step 5:

Pay the SECR application fee, if required and submit the form. Once done, save a copy for future reference.
