Once enabled, the feature checks the digital certificate to verify the developer's identity and confirm that the concerned app is not tampered. Also, it uses the Microsoft cloud-powered technology service to check if the app is safe or not based on many signals.

Step 1: Open Start on your Windows 11 laptop.
