The Union Public Service Commission has issued the official notification for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandants exam 2022. The online application window has been activated and will continue till May 10. Those who are interested and eligible can apply by visiting the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. As per the official statement, the CAPF AC written exam is scheduled to be held on August 7, 2022. The UPSC CAPF exam comprises two papers- paper I will be held from 10 am to 12 pm, while Paper II will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.

UPSC CAPF 2022 exam: Vacancy details

The Commission will fill a total of 253 vacancies in the concerned organization. Out of total vacancies, 66 vacancies are available for BSF, 29 posts are for CRPF, 62 for CISF, 14 for ITBP and 82 for SSB.

UPSC CAPF 2022 exam: Eligibility criteria

Age limit: The applicants must be between the age group of 20 and 25 as on August 1, 2022. This means the candidates should be born between 2 August, 1997 and 1 August, 2002.

Educational qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised University or a similar qualification

UPSC CAPF 2022 exam: Application fee

Candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs. 200 either by depositing the money in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) or by using Credit/Debit Card/ UPI Payment/Internet Banking of any Bank. Female/SC/ST category candidates have been exempted from fee payment.

Step 2:

Search and tap on UPSC CAPF 2022 notification link on the homepage.

Step 3:

Now fill in all the required details correctly in the application form to complete the registration.

Step 4:

Once done save and proceed to part 2 of registration -filling up application form. Upload the required documents and pay the application fee online.

Step 5:

Once the application form is submitted, keep a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
