UPSC prelims 2022 online application process for CSE and Indian Forest Service Exam 2022 has started on its official website upsconline.nic.in.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the online applications link for Civil Services Examination and Indian Forest Examination 2022. Those who aspire to become an IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS officer can apply online by visiting the official portals www.upsc.gov.in or www.upsconline.nic.in. The applications window will remain active till 22 February 2022.  The UPSC and Indian Forest service prelims examination is scheduled to be held on June 5, 2022.  Check important details about UPSC prelims 2022 and Indian Forest Service Exam 2022 below: 

UPSC prelims 2022: Important dates 

Filling up of UPSC application - February 2 to February 2022

Withdrawal of Application - March 1 to March 7

Date of Prelims Exam - June 5, 2022  

UPSC CSE prelims 2022: Eligibility criteria   

Educational qualification for CSE: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ Institute. Students appearing in the final examination of a Bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply.

Educational qualification for Indian Forest Service exam: Bachelor's degree from a recognized Institute/University in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology Agriculture / Forestry or  Engineering.

Age Limit : The minimum age of an applicant must not be less than 21 years and exceed 32 years as on 1st August 2022.

Step 1:

Visit the official website https://www.upsconline.nic.in/ 

Step 2:

Go to ‘Online Recruitment Application (ORA) for Various Recruitment Posts’ tab.

Step 3:

You will be e\redirected to a new page where you can click on ‘Apply Now’ link against the post of your choice.

Step 4:

Read the Important Instructions and proceed to registration. 

Step 5:

On the next page, click on ‘New Registration’

Step 6:

Fill in all the required details and click on ‘Save and Continue’

Step 7:

Once done proceed to step 2 of registration i.e, login via registered user id and password.

Step 8:

Complete the remaining part of the form, upload necessary documents and pay the application fee, if required. 

Step 9:

Once done, download and save a copy of duly submitted application.
