This is the time of the year when most single people start getting back to the dating scene, but considering pandemic times are still here, they mostly go to dating apps - preferably free dating apps. With Covid-19 still going strong, meeting new people in person is not the best idea, but dating apps have solved that problem. Fortunately, most dating apps follow the freemium model, which means while you can register on the platform and use some basic features for free, for more advanced features, you need to pay a subscription fee. But if you are watching your pocket and can’t afford any extra expenses, do not worry. Facebook Dating is your solution. It is a completely free dating app and already has a large user base, meaning more chances of you finding the right match. Facebook Dating was launched in India in April, 2021 for Android and iPhone. It is not available in the web version so far. Users, however, do not need to download a separate app. This feature comes inside the original Facebook app itself. Facebook Dating app has some interesting features like filtering results based on location, religion, age, height etc. Users can search for a partner within a 100km range. Users can also use a Lucky Match filter to search for a partner in an even larger range. Interested yet? Read on to find out how you can create your dating profile on Facebook. ## How to create Facebook Dating profile Step 1: Open your Facebook app. If you do not have a Facebook account, make one first. Step 2: Tap the menu option. Its icon has three horizontal bars parallel to each other. Step 3: Go to the All Shortcuts option and look for ‘Dating’. If you can’t see it there, go to the bottom and click on ‘See more’ and then scroll down till you find it. Step 4: Tap on ‘Dating’ and click on ‘Get started’. Step 5: At this point you will be asked to go through a set of questions. These will determine which details will be part of your dating profile. You can skip a question if you don’t want to answer it. Or press next after answering it. Step 6: Once done with the questions, review your profile details. If you want to add/remove or change something, click on the pencil icon and edit it. Step 7: Add your photos to your profile. Step 8: Once you’re done, click ‘Confirm’ to create your profile. Enjoy!
