There is an app on Windows 11 called Films & TV which comes with the support for the picture-in-picture mode to let you enjoy your content even when some other task is being done. However, you need to note that this works only for the videos that are saved in your computer and not for the online videos from YouTube or any other video-streaming website. For that, you will need to use an internet browser that supports picture-in-picture mode.

How to enable picture-in-picture mode to watch videos on Windows 11

Step 1:

To enable the picture-in-picture mode, first you need to open your File Explorer. 

Step 2:

Then find a video that you want to play in the picture-in-picture mode.

Step 3:

Now right click on the video and select Open with option. And choose Films & TV app. 

Step 4:

Once the video player will start playing the video, it will play in a mini view.

Step 5:

You can drag the windows according to your need.
