Deleting a Twitter account starts with deactivation. Do note that deactivating the Twitter account is only the first step. Once you deactivate your account on Twitter, it will no longer be visible, but you can reactivate it by logging-in during a specified period. Once the reactivation period is over, your Twitter account will automatically be deleted.

2. Tap on your profile picture.

3. Go to Settings and privacy and select Your account.

5. Read disclaimer and confirm the “Deactivate”

6. Twitter will ask you to enter a password. Do the same to delete your Twitter account.
