Yes, you can share the exciting and relevant clips of long and boring YouTube videos in simple steps. YouTube is essentially one of the best public video-sharing platforms, but it sometimes becomes difficult to share a small clip of a long video with others. Thanks to the YouTube Clips feature, you can send a short clip of a long video. YouTube clips are between 5-60 seconds long and are played on a loop from the original video's watch page while allowing you to send only a part of the video you want to share.

However, you should note that Clips are Public and can be watched by anyone with access to the Clip who can also watch the underlying video. The creators who own the Clip's underlying video can see Clips, and they can also be seen on select search, discovery, and analytics surfaces available to viewers and creators on YouTube. Though, YouTube Clips can not be created from videos that are less than 2 minutes, videos made from news channels, and live streams which have a duration of more than 8 hours. How to create YouTube Clips

Step 1:

You will need to Sign in to your YouTube account to create a Clip.

Step 2:

After that, start watching a video.

Step 3:

Under the video, you will find the option of the clips, tap on it. In case you don't see this, the video isn't eligible for Clips.

Step 4:

Once you tap on it, a “Create clips” box will show up.

Step 5:

Then, select the section of the video you would like to make clip. You can increase the maximum of 60 seconds or decrease a minimum of 5 seconds the length of your selection by dragging the slider.

Step 6:

Once it is done, give the YouTube clips a title with max 140 characters.

Step 7:

Now, click SHARE CLIPS in order to share it. 

Step 8:

You will have four options: Copy the link, Social networks, Embed, and email.

Step 9:

Anyone with access to the link can watch the YouTube Clip that you have shared. However, in case the clip is set to private or deleted, the clip will be unavailable.
