WhatsApp has rolled out a new animated sticker pack on its platform to help people celebrate Diwali with their friends and family from afar in style. The newly introduced animated sticker pack is called WhatsApp Happy Diwali sticker pack and it includes a variety of stickers that convey Diwali wishes, blessings and other messages related to the celebrations. However, before you get started, here is how to get WhatsApp Diwali stickers on your device.

WhatsApp Happy Diwali animated sticker pack is available for download on both Android and iOS-based apps. Before you download the WhatsApp Diwali sticker pack, know that it weighs in at 4.9MBs. How to get WhatsApp Diwali stickers: Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Open WhatsApp then you open a chat.

Step 2: Tap on the sticker icon. This sticker icon is located on the right side of the text bar for iOS users and for Android users, it is located right next to the GIF option.

Step 3: Next, tap the ‘plus' icon. On doing so, you will get to WhatsApp's sticker library where you can download all sticker packs.

Step 4: Look for the Happy Diwali animated sticker pack and tap on the download button right next to it.

Step 5: Once you have downloaded the sticker pack, you can share Diwali stickers with your friends and family members like other stickers on the messaging app.

Separately, WhatsApp is planning to work on improving the visibility of business accounts on its platform. One way the popular messaging app does this is by highlighting the registered businesses with a green tick mark. Now, the company is working on improving this further and helping its users distinguish between business accounts and regular accounts. WhatsApp is doing this by putting the ‘Business Account' tag right below the name of the business and the green tick in the chat window.

Additionally, WhatsApp used to give a simple message to let users know that their chats were end-to-end encrypted when they first interacted with a business. Now, the company, in an expanded message is giving WhatsApp users access to more information regarding how chats with business work. These changes are visible in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.21.23.2 and WhatsApp beta for iOS version 2.21.220.16.
