Halloween is right around the corner. Ahead of the Halloween celebration, Snapchat has introduced a new Lens that will enable users to dress up in an AR costume and do Monster Mash dance along with AR characters.
Snapchat said that these new Lenses are powered by its 3D full body tracking technology and that it is publicly available for the users. The company also said that its newly rolled out lenses work across platforms and they can be captured by both the front and rear-facing cameras of the phone that users are using.
Snapchat is releasing a set of over 10 3D full body tracking lenses in its platform today. These lenses track 18 joints on the human body and apply 3D models to follow the movements of people in the camera’s view.
