Instagram recently introduced a feature to add links in stories with a new Link Sticker option. Earlier, this feature was available for only selected users who have a verified business account and more than 10000 followers. The links showed up as a swipe-up button at the bottom of the story. However, with the recent addition, anyone can add links to any part of the story. The restriction of having 10000 followers has also been removed and now all users on Instagram can post a link in their stories using Link Stickers.

More than 500 million users like to use Instagram's Stories feature. And, now that the terms and conditions for accounts to add links have been removed, anyone can access this feature on Instagram. How to add links to your Instagram Stories

Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your mobile and swipe right. You’ll see an option to post a picture/video or other thing in the story.

Step 2: Choose a photo or video from your gallery or you can click a picture as well and insert that in Insta story.

Step 3: Next, swipe up to open the sticker tray and select the Link option available just below GIF and next to the poll widget options.

Step 4: Paste the URL or link that you want to add to your Instagram story.

Step 5: Once done, the link will appear as any other sticker on the Instagram Story. You can also move it around and place it on any part of the Story as per your choice.

Step 6: This Link Sticker is clickable and can redirect the user to the URL page upon clicking.

Step 7: Now post the story on your Instagram account by clicking on the Share option. Your story will be visible to all your followers and the link can also be opened by all of them.
