Apple has started a free repair program for the faulty smartwatches and it only applies to Apple Watch 6 40mm smartwatches which were manufactured between April and September 2021. Apple has asked users to enter their watch’s serial number in a widget on the Apple support pages, to check if they are eligible for a free service. (Apple)
