In what will help Apple boost revenues in a season of slowdowns, it has been revealed that the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the most expensive of its iPhones, is much in demand. Notably, iPhone 14 Pro Max accounts for about 60 percent of the total order increase of Pro models, informed Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities. The increase in the order is benefiting iPhone ASP/product mix for 4Q22. "iPhone 14 Pro Max accounts for about 60% of the total order increase of Pro models, benefiting iPhone ASP/product mix for 4Q22," Kuo tweeted (ASP-Average Selling Price). He further said that he thinks this result will encourage Apple to create more differentiation between iPhone 15 Pro Max and 15 Pro to raise 15 Pro Max shipments and enhance the iPhone product mix.

Kuo had earlier informed that Apple will be creating more differentiation between iPhone 15 Pros and iPhone 15 standard models. He informed that the difference between the iPhone 15 Pro and standard models will be more to increase the Pro shipment allocation and new iPhone ASP. "I believe Apple will create more differentiation between iPhone 15 Pros and iPhone 15 standard models to increase Pro shipment allocation and the new iPhone ASP," Kuo's tweet read.

He also informed that Apple will also start creating differentiation between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the iPhone 15 Pro in order to generate more sales and profits in a mature market. "Taking a step further, Apple will also start creating differentiation between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the iPhone 15 Pro. It's the best practice via a precise product segmentation strategy to generate more sales/profits in a mature market," another tweet added.

Kuo had also held a survey according to which shipment forecasts of iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will increase by about 10 percent, benefiting the iPhone ASP/product mix for 4Q22.

It can be known that Apple launched the iPhone 14 series on September 7, 2022 at its Far Out event. While, the iPhone 15 series is expected to be launched in the month of September, next year (2023). However, there is no official information about the same yet.
