In a world where Alexa and Google Assistant are creeping into our home appliances, cars, scooters, and whatnot, it is only logical to see a smart toilet add to the category. Kohler, the world renowned bathroom fitting maker, had shown off a smart toilet at the CES 2019 but it never went on sale. 3 years later, Kohler has now put it on sale. It is called the Kohler Numi 2.0 and the commode is loaded with tech that you would mostly find in modern-day appliances.

The Kohler Numi 2.0 is a state-of-the-art commode that's laden with tech. It costs a whopping $11500 to buy and that is without the fitment costs and transportation. Hence, for doing your morning routine with an extra serving of modern-day technology, you are paying a lot of money. However, for the tech enthusiasts who cannot let go of their obsession with tech, this is the smart toilet to own.

Kohler Numi 2.0 has lots of tech for bathroom lovers

This high-tech commode looks like most fancy commodes you see in fancy hotel bathrooms but there are visual difference. There's some tasteful LED lighting similar to those gaming laptops from Asus and Dell you see around. The toilet also features in-built speakers, which allow Amazon's Alexa to voice her search results and answers to all your queries you can have in your bathroom. Technically, you will be able to ask your commode to sing you your favourite playlist while you take your dump.

Then there's the toilet bits that are no different from the fancy Japanese toilets we hear of. The commode features a bidet for cleaning your front and back sides, UV lighting for cleaning this bidet, controlling temperature, pressure and position of the bidet, misting of the bowl, auto flush, auto deodorising, heated seat, air dryer and an emergency backup flush. The lid also goes up and down automatically.

There's a handheld remote controller for the basic functions, and the Kohler app for the lights as well as Alexa controls.
