Tech Wrap: 7 biggest announcements at Apple WWDC20 keynote
Apple kicked off its all-online Worldwide Developers Conference on June 22 with nifty new features and upgrades to its entire ecosystem. The iOS 14 brings a new App Library, App Clips, picture-in-picture video and updates to Siri, Memoji and Messages, while the iPad design has been refreshed with compact UIs and a new ‘Scribble’ feature that converts handwritten text to typed text. Along with improved support for HomeKit, the Apple tvOS 14 brings adaptive lighting, face detection, camera improvements, and better multiuser support. The macOS Big Sur, which marks Apple’s transition from macOS X, brings loads of improvements to Safari, adds iOS14-style Messages and Maps as well improves privacy.
