GTA Online: Get $1 million reward for free; check if you are eligible

If you play Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA), you could be in line for a massive reward. Notably, GTA Online is offering 1-million in-game dollars and here’s what you will need to do to claim it.

GTA Online free $1 million reward: If you're a Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online player and you haven't played the game in a while, thanks to newer, more interesting games that might have caught your attention, Rockstar Games wants you to come back to play again and it is dangling a big carrot for you. The company is reportedly offering users a lot of in-game currency to get them back in the game, but only certain users will be able to access the freebie, while the money itself can be used for any purpose in the game.

In an attempt to bring more subscribers to the game, Rockstar Games is offering users $1 million in in-game money. This means that as long as you have a PlayStation Plus membership (or decide to get one) you should automatically be eligible to get the amount as in-game cash. All users have to do is log in to the game with their account that has the membership and automatically receive the 1 million dollars reward.

However, if you have a PS Plus membership and you play GTA Online, you should still be quick about redeeming the code. This is because the PS Plus exclusive offer listed on the Sony PlayStation Store is currently listed as $0.00 but the listing also includes a final date of September 1, 2021, to claim the reward.

The PS Plus membership is supposed to give Grand Theft Auto Online players a good reason to continue playing the game, as they can use the currency to buy weapons or vehicles inside the game -- something that could otherwise cost in-game currency now (which costs real money). As Gamepur points out, this isn't the first time that the company has dropped in-game cash in players accounts. Earlier this year, the company reportedly gave players $1 million to all PS Plus members until the PS5 version of the game was launched
