How to customise weapons on Call of Duty Mobile with Gunsmith
Make your weapons more effective on Call of Duty Mobile by upgrading and personalising them.
You already know about the impact weapons can make on your gameplay on Call of Duty Mobile. To improve the effectiveness of your weapon, you also need to upgrade them. For instance, if you like a sniper gun, you may add-on a better lens to better aim at the enemies.
The game currently allows users to configure weapons through Multiplayer Loadouts. Call of Duty Mobile last year introduced Gunsmith that allows users to personalise their weapons. Instead of the five Multiplayer Loadouts, Gunsmith lets you unlock up to 10 loadout slots.
Earlier, primary weapons and pistols had just one optical attachment slot and three other attachment slots for customisation. The Gunsmith, however, allows you to choose any primary weapon or pistol and customise elements such as optic, laser, muzzle, barrel, underbarrel, ammunition, rear grip, stock, and perk. Users have the option to place an attachment on any of the nine slots. They also have the option to add up to 5 unique attachments together. Apart from snap-on, you can also personalise the look of the weapon. There are a few cosmetic add-ons such as Charm and Camo.
“Secondary weapons outside of pistols can also go through Gunsmith, although their customization is limited to only cosmetic changes. In other words, you can't equip a sniper scope on a Baseball Bat, as tempting as it sounds,” according to CoD Mobile.
Here is how you can personalise your weapon.
Step 1: On the home screen, tap on the loadout.
Step 2: Choose game modes. In our case, we are going ahead with Multiplayer.
Step 3: Choose one of the top 10 loadout slots (if you have a weapon added).
Step 4. Tap on the weapon. Then, choose Gunsmith.
Step 5: Upgrade the weapon to unlock all the attachments.
Step 6: Tap on attachments and choose the ones you prefer.
Step 7: Tap on Equip and Confirm. Save the changes and exit.
