The wait is over. Call of Duty Mobile Season 2 has finally rolled out. The new season succeeds Season 1: New Order that rolled out in January this year. The latest Call of Duty Mobile Season 2: Day of Reckoning brings new content, including characters, weapons, scorestreaks, and of course, maps. Let’s quickly take a look at what is new in Season 2.
New Battle Pass
The latest update to Call of Duty Mobile brings a brand-new Battle Pass, including a wide range of premium rewards. It includes new epic Blueprints, including the previously teased AS Val- Judgement, M4LMG – Checkpoint, KRM-262 – Eagle Claw, and BK57 – Data Miner. There are new epic Soldiers -- Mace – Back For More, Mara – Awakening, Alex and Special Ops 2 – Brute. Free battle pass rewards include AS Val, a special rifle with a high fire rate and damage, and a new scorestreak called Napalm.
Ranked Season reset
Call of Duty Mobile has also reset the Ranked Season to 1. The new season will succeed the older Season 8, which launched last year. We are hoping for new modes and maps to join the season as well. The latest Ranked Season will run for another couple of months. New ranked mode rewards are new epic Blueprint, QXR – Roaring Steel and spic soldier Kreuger – Ruptured Steel.
Shoot House, one of the long-awaited maps, is finally here. A classic from Modern Warfare, the map is themed on a deserted military training ground located in the middle of a desert. The map also has the classic 3-route design. If you are planning to try out the new map, check out our detailed overview and tutorial. Not to forget, the map will be available for Team Death March, Hard Point, Kill Confirmed, and Domination, among others.

Like Shoot House, the map is available for Team Death March, Hard Point, Kill Confirmed, and Domination, among others.
The Battle Royale mode has also received an update. It features new game modes such as Tank Battle. It also brings a Cargo Truck. There are new weapons as well. Apart from new content and features, Call of Duty Mobile has rolled out a bunch of bug fixes and optimisations. For instance, the game has now “optimised sound effects based on different scenes so that players can locate their enemies more accurately.”
