With the launch of Realme 1 smartphone in 2018, the company began operations in India. It then introduced the Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro smartphones in India, making it one of the fastest-growing brands in 2018. The company sold mobile phones through internet marketplaces in its first year of operations here. However, the company entered the offline area in 2019 in order to improve its position in the budget and midrange segments. Realme has already established its market in India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Italy, Spain, France, England, Russia, and China.
In 2019, it opened its first exclusive service centre in New Delhi. In CMR Insights Report 2021, Realme was ranked first in customer satisfaction in the 20K-30K smartphone class. Realme is also the first company in India to release a 5G smartphone, the X50 Pro 5G.
Other than smartphones, Realme also sells earphones, laptops, power banks, speakers and Smart TVs which includes DIZO, the first consumer tech brand of Realme. In India, it has introduced goods such as wireless neckband earphones and TWS earbuds.
Realme 8s 5G, which is the company’s latest offering, is priced at Rs. 17,999. It comes in two colours and is powered by Dimensity 810 5G processor.
