The UP Free Laptop Yojana 2021 will allow the UP government to distribute laptops to over 22 lakh students who have cleared their board exams in the state. The scheme to provide free laptops is limited to students who are studying in the state board and have cleared their class 12 board exams. However, merely clearing the exam will not be enough, as students will have to score at least 65 percent, in order to be eligible to receive a laptop, according to India Today.

Students will need to visit the official website at up.gov.in, then click on the ‘Apply Online' option that appears, which will reportedly redirect to the scheme's webpage. From there, users will have to enter their details in the form and upload their documents then submit the form and print out their application, according to the report.
