Nothing loves to break stereotypes, as has been made evident with its last few launches. Hence, when Nothing decides to do a giveaway for its Phone (1) smartphone, you can expect something unique. And sure enough, Nothing founder Carl Pei just came up with a contest that suggests you do something that nobody has done before – make a comment on his tweet that either nobody likes, or everybody likes. Puzzled?

In order to win a new Phone (1) from Nothing, Carl says that your reply to his tweet needs to have no likes at all. Within the 24 hour bracket of the original tweet made, the person with zero likes on his/her tweet will win a new Phone (1). The prize also applies for the person who has the most number of likes on their tweet. Hence, there are two Nothing Phone (1) units to be won via this giveaway.

mobile to buy?

Other than the fancy design, the Nothing Phone (1) is a solid midrange Android phone to daily drive. You get a nice 6.5-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone relies on the Snapdragon 778G Plus chip, and makes use of a clean Nothing OS experience based on Android 12. Nothing is in the final stages of rolling out the Android 13 update for existing users of the Phone (1).

The Phone (1) also impresses with a well-tuned pair of 50MP cameras at the back, a 4500mAh battery that lasts an entire day, and support for 33W fast wired charging.
