iPhone 14 along with iOS 16 has got to be the buggiest release in the recent years! From the shaky camera bug to a Dynamic Island that literally floats, we have seen all sorts of weird stuff on the iPhone 14 Pro. Now, the iPhone 14 is throwing up another bug that is causing people to worry. Many users are complaining of a new bug that shows “SIM not Supported” message. And this is not just a simple message. It even leads to screen freezing and eventually may lead you to do a full restore, which Apple advises against.

Apple has so far acknowledged the issue to exist on devices such as the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Users on all these devices may see the “SIM not Supported” message. This is a pop-up message and hence, it may cause the iPhone to freeze up. Apple has said that this is not a hardware related issue but is investigating it at the moment. A fix should be released with a subsequent iOS update.

Those users who have faced the message and witnessed the screen freezing should refrain from doing a hard reset and restore the device. Apple says that users should head over to an Apple Store or a service provider to request for a technical assistance. The issue will be resolved from there.

It is advised that users of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max should keep an eye for the latest updates and download them as soon as they are available. Apple is also expected to release the iOS 16.1 update that should activate a few more features of iOS 16 across supported iOS devices. The update is expected to be release soon along with the iPadOS 16.1 update.
