Oppo Reno 9 series is not coming to India. Based on a new leak, it is now said that the Reno 9 series is not coming to India in the early phase of 2023. Instead, Oppo is likely to bring the Reno 10 series to India as its next flagship series. No information on the specifications and features but rumours suggest either a new model or a rebranded version of the Reno 9 series from China.

The Reno 10 series will be unveiled in the first or second week of February 2023, suggest the report from 91Mobiles. While not much is known about the design and specs, a previous leak showcased the schematics of an Oppo device with an elliptical camera module hosting a telephoto camera sensor. Since Oppo doesn't bring its Find X series devices to India, Oppo could be developing a more premium version for the market to take on the flagships from rival Android brands.

Oppo Reno 10 series coming to India soon

The Reno 9 series was announced in China a few months ago, consisting of three models. There was a base Reno 9, a beefed up Reno 9 Pro, and a flagship Reno 9 Pro+. Oppo could opt for different specifications and design for the Indian model this year. As is the trend, we won't be surprised to see the Reno 10 flagship to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The square camera lens arrangement suggests a periscope zoom camera, which is usually reserved for flagship phones in India.

Not sure which
mobile to buy?

A few years ago, it was the Oppo Reno 10X zoom variant that established the lineup as a flagship model for the brand in India. The phone had a top-tier Snapdragon chip, flagship grade cameras with a periscope zoom lens, and a premium design. It also had a pop-up camera for eliminating the camera cutout. There are chances of Oppo repeating the same formula with the Reno 10 series.

Rumours also suggest Oppo bringing the Find N2 Flip to India as its first foldable flip phone, taking on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Find N2 Flip uses a Dimensity 9000+ chip, a large cover display measuring 3.2-inches, and a 4300mAh battery.
