After months of speculation, Apple is finally going to reveal its next flagship iPhone 14 series at the "Far Out" Event which is set to take place today, September 7. The Apple event will also see the launch of the Apple Watch 8 and other exciting products. So, ahead of the official reveal, here's what you can expect at the Apple Far Out Event today.

iPhone 14 launch

Apple is all set to unveil its next flagship smartphone series, the iPhone 14. The Cupertino-based tech giant is taking a giant leap this year with the iPhone 14 Pro models. According to rumours, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature a new notch design, getting rid of the bulky notch seen in the previous generations of iPhones. Apple is also set to launch the new iPhone 14 Max (Plus) which will replace the outgoing iPhone 13 Mini.

Apple Watch 8 launch

Apple will launch the Apple Watch 8 at the event today. According to rumours, Apple will also launch a new Apple Watch Pro and a cheaper Apple Watch SE. The Apple Watch Pro is expected to come in a larger, almost 50mm, size, compared to the 45mm size of the standard Apple Watch. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch SE is expected to be a trimmed down version of the Apple Watch 8 at a lower price.

iOS 16 launch

Although iOS 16 has already been revealed at the WWDC 2022 in June, it will finally be released for the public with the launch of the iPhone 14. Apple always keeps its software releases at par with its new iPhone launches. Therefore, we could get a global release date of iOS 16 today.

Airpods Pro 2 launch

Further rumours have indicated that Apple could surprise the audience by announcing the successor to Airpods Pro. The Airpods Pro 2 could come with Apple's new H1 chip, the company's very own audio processor. The Airpods Pro 2 could also feature the new Bluetooth 5.2 technology.

Apple Far Out Event: How to watch

The Apple “Far Out” Event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, Cupertino, California. It will be the first in-person event since 2020. Apple will be hosting livestreams on its official website, YouTube channel and Apple TV+. You can tune in at 10:30 PM IST today, September 7 to watch the event live.
