Snapchat is launching its Spectacles 3 and Spectacles 2 today in India and you can buy them now. These second and third generation glasses were launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively and Snapchat is finally bringing them to India. They will both be available on Flipkart.

Spectacles 2 price, specs

The Snapchat Spectacles 2 weigh 45.4 grams and come with a 4GB of flash storage that can store up to 150 videos or 3,000 photos. The Spectacles 2 come with a dual microphone array for audio and two cameras with an aperture of f2.2 and a 150-degree field of view each that can capture images with a resolution of 1642 x 1642 pixels and videos at 60fps. 

Spectacles 2 come with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery which can help the spectacles capture and transfer over 70 videos on a single charge. For connectivity the Snapchat Spectacles 2 have Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11ac.

Spectacles 2 are compatible with iPhone 5 or above running iOS 10 or above or smartphones running Android 4.4 or above with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi Direct.

The Snapchat Spectacles 2 cost ₹14,999 in India and they will be available in Sapphire, Onyx and Ruby colours.

Spectacles 3 price, specs

Spectacles 3, on the other hand, are a bit heavier. They weigh 56.5 grams and come with 4GB of flash storage that can store up to 100 3D videos or 1,200 3D photos. 

These 3rd generation Spectacles 3 come with a four-microphone array and two cameras with a 105-degree 2D field of view, a 86-degrees 3D field of view and an aperture of f2.2 each. These two cameras combined offer an image resolution of 1728 x 1728 pixels, the video resolution stands at 1216 x 1216 pixels at 60fps.

The Spectacles 3 come with Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11ac for connectivity. There is also a rechargeable Li-ion battery that can capture and sync up to 70 videos on each full charge. They also come with a charging case that can fully charge them up in about 75 minutes.

The Spectacles 3 cost ₹29,999 and they are available in Mineral and Carbon colours.
