Vivo Y53i with ‘Face Access’ launched in India, priced at ₹7,990
Vivo Y53i is claimed to offer photos up to 32-megapixel using ultra-HD technology.
Vivo on Monday launched a new budget smartphone under its Y series. Vivo Y53i is priced at ₹7,990, and will be available across offline retailers. The smartphone comes in two colour options of crown gold and matte black.
"With the introduction of Y53i, we are strengthening our budget smartphone portfolio by delivering an outstanding camera and user experience at a competitive price point," said Kenny Zeng, CMO, Vivo India.

Vivo Y53i features a 5-inch display, and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425 processor. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB. It is fuelled by a 2,500mAh battery.
For photography, Vivo Y53i sports an 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel selfie camera. Vivo claims that the smartphone can produce photos with resolution up to 32-megapixel. using ultra-HD techology. The smartphone also comes with 'Face Access' feature. The budget device also has "Screen Flash" feature that claims to provide detailed selfies even in low-light conditions.
Vivo y53i also comes with "smart eye protection" that filters out blue light to prevent eye strain and "App clone" function to make multitasking easier.
