Instant delivery service Blinkit has announced it is moving in a very different direction compared to its usual grocery deliveries. The Zomato-owned company has announced that it is starting the delivery services for the iPhone 14, where the iPhone will be delivered to your doorstep within minutes of ordering via Blinkit app. Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa made the announcement via a tweet.

Dhindsa tweeted, “iPhone 14 in minutes! We have partnered with @UnicornAPR to bring Apple iPhone and accessories to Blinkit customers within minutes. Available in Delhi and Mumbai for now. Update to the latest @letsblinkit app version on your iOS and Android phones to buy.”

Blinkit is partnering for the iPhone delivery with Unicorn Info Solutions, one of the largest official Apple resellers in India.

Apple announced the iPhone 14 series at the “Far out” event held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, California. The Cupertino-based tech giant announced four new iPhone models – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. While the other 3 models are upgrades on their counterparts from previous year, the iPhone 14 Plus is an all-new device launched to replace the now-discontinued iPhone 13 Mini.

The iPhone 14 pre-orders have already begun from September 9 and the device goes on sale from today, September 16. This new iPhone delivery service by Blinkit will make it easier for people to buy the iPhone 14, sparing them from standing in long queues at stores. According to Blinkit, the service is currently only available in Delhi and Mumbai. It will be rolled out to more cities in the future. To buy the iPhone 14 via Blinkit, users need to update the Blinkit app to the latest version.

Blinkit's new delivery service could be a game-changer for the app in the Indian market where the service could establish its position in India as the primary instant delivery service for mobiles, laptops, accessories and other electronics.
